Winter 2009 Update
Thank you all for waiting patiently we have a HUGE update that should keep you fairly satisfied for the time being. I want to get you up to date where you know just as much as I do.
First lets get our 11th Record Announced alright ok??? We will be working with Devour from Raleigh, North Carolina. This is their second release which will be a 7" which is following up their self-titled LP on Sorry State Records. This 7" will be entitled "Insect Circuitry", Devour sheds the darker side of hardcore which for me brings band to the front of my mind like Nausea, Rudimentary Peni and maybe even Void. This record we are hoping to have out before the new year!
Our Next Release is...
Devour - Insect Circuitry 7"
Headcount 010
Seasick
Ennui 7"
Coming straight out of New Brunswick, NJ, SEASICK have worked hard to carve out a thick solid chunk of respect within the hardcore punk community. They pack a socially relevant punch that will make you question the world around you as well as the face reflected in your mirror. Philosophical lyrics filtered through the human element are backed by dead stop breakdowns and a neck snapping rhythm that will move you if you have a pulse. Their unique style, which is influenced by such former NJ bands as Endeavor, The Degenerics and Tear It Up, gets together in a flawless fury that truly carries it's own weight. Up to this day they have released a split 7 inch with Don't Wake Up, a 10 inch record and CD entitled "Awakenings", another split 7 inch with a Texas band ANS and the one sided laser etched "Ouroboros" 12 inch EP. SEASICK's new brand 7"EP is called "Ennui" and is coming as a co-release between Headcount Records (United States) and Refuse Records (Europe)
